PCR stands for Post Consumer Recycled. Essentially, it is plastic that has been given a new lease on life — recycled after its initial product life cycle and made into a new product. According to some data, using PCR manufactured products reduces energy consumption by 79%. It could save more electricity than is consumed annually in all of Los Angeles and is equal to reducing enough greenhouse gas emissions as taking nearly a half a million cars off the road.
